Weather was lovely today so I made use of it and had a little walk around Wellington and to Oriental Parade. It was very pleasant and the water so blue, something I really didn't expect! Had a little wade in the water then read a book on the beach.
Met an 80+ year old man called Chris who actually went in and swam in the cold water! He also told me how he was a farmer and how he moved to New Zealand when he was a 1 year old and his whole life, he pretty much saw the country develop into what it is today. I found it pretty amazing and can't quite imagine seeing something like that myself. It's really fun meeting people and hearing their back stories. So different.
