I arrived in Wellington and was greeted by my buddies Jonna and Ryan with a very pretty name card!!! Best welcome ever! Thanks guys!
A hot shower, and a few hours later I was recharged (sleeping is for the weak or dead) and we were out eating sashimi off Courtenay Place. This then followed by a visit to a bar (Hooch) and talking to some very young local men (one turned 19 at the stroke of midnight) who to our amusement, got turfed from the place a little later on. They were interested to know what I thought of kiwi men and.... golf. Right, think we know what I think of the latter... kinda zzzz and yet mesmerising on occasion (probably from boredom).
Good and fun first night overall and already enjoying myself!
